Collective Noun Proper noun  Proper noun is a noun that references a specific person, place, animal, thing or idea.  Proper noun always starts with a capital letter. For example - Radha, Shyam, Santosh, Arvind, Geeta, Sita, Abhimanyu, Asnawar, Jhalawar, Kota, Jaipur, Delhi , Ratan , May , Monday , England , Udaipur  etc. Common noun  A common noun is a generic name for a person, place or a thing that belongs to a particular  class or a group.
