Is/ Am/Are is used in Present Tense when -

Singular Subject + is

I + am

Plural Subject + are

In Simple -

Name + is

He  +  is

She  + is

It  +  is

We   +   are

You   +   are

They   +   are

Two Names + are

I   +   am
