Definition with Examples

Noun
Noun is the name of a Person, Place, Animal or a Thing.

 For Example - 
 Person -  Ramesh, Ram, Sita, Geeta                         etc.
 Place -  Kota, Jhalawar, Jaipur ,Agra                    etc.
 Animals - Cow, Dog, Cat etc. 
 Things -  Table, Chair, Chalk, Pencil,                       Notebooks, Book etc.


Pronoun
 Pronoun is a word that is used in         place of a Noun.

For Example - 
I ,We, You, He, She, It, They etc.


Verb

Verb is a word which shows an action.
In simple words verb is an action word.

For example - 
Sit , Run, Laugh, Cry, Eat, Walk, Talk, Write, Read etc.


Adverb

Adverb  is a word that  describe or change a verb, an adjective or even another adverb.

For example - 
Slowly, Rudely, Fast, Loudly, Angrily, anywhere, today  etc.

                        Day - 3

Adjective

 Adjective is a word that modifies a noun or a pronoun. It usually comes before a noun or pronoun.

 For Example - 
Intelligent, Hot, Cold, Fair, Handsome, Beautiful etc.


Preposition

 Preposition is a word used before a noun, a noun phrase for a pronoun, connecting with another word in the sentence.

 For Example -
On, In, Into, With, By, Between, Above, Below, Under, Beside etc.


Conjunction

 Conjunction is a word that joins words, phrases, clauses or sentences.

For Example -
but, and, yet, or, because, nor, although, since etc.


Interjection

An interjection is a word, phrase, or sentence that expresses emotion, meaning, or feeling. 

 For Example -
Ah , Wow, Ouch, Alas, Hurray, Hey, Ooh, Oh  etc.
