An adverb is a word which modifies a verb.

Examples - bravely, easily, happily, slowly, wisely, loudly, always, here, there, carelessly, calmly, yesterday, now, inside, well etc.

A. Write the definition of adverb. Give examples.

B. Below are given some sentences containing an Adverb. Identify it and write in space provided against each sentence.

4.         They usually talk loudly.

8.     You have to come there.

9. He was with your father yesterday.

10.   Ram is not playing now.

11.They were playing inside.

12.They should never behave rudely.

13. You never come here in time.

14.They are playing outside.

C. Here are given some verbs and adverbs. Find them and write below in their category as verb or adverb.
