Adjective

An adjective is a word which qualifies a noun or a pronoun. 

Examples -  sweet, intelligent, beautiful, good, bad, tall, expert,  fantastic , sharp, short, big,  small, long, dear, useful, famous, late, black, white, etc. 


Opposites of some adjectives

1.   thin              thick 

2.   fresh            stale

3.   long              short 

4.   clear            vogue

5.   small            large/ big 

6.   sharp           blunt 

7.   black           white 

8.   beautiful    ugly 

9.   good             bad 

10. hard             easy 

11. light             dark
